Iran’s Foreign Minister in Yerevan

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is in Yerevan for a two-day visit at the invitation of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. "The expansion of the relations with Armenia is one ofIran’s foreign policy priorities."- said Javad Zarif in the meeting with journalists in "Zvartnots" airport, reports panorama.am.

Referring to the regional problems the Iranian Foreign Minister said: "There is a need of peace and stability in the region, the existing conflicts should be settled based on the international law." Foreign Minister Zarif, speaking about bilateral visits, emphasized President Serzh Sargsyans visit to Iran who took part in the inauguration ceremony of the Iranian President Hassan Rohani and added that recently the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Armenia had also visited Tehran.

As armradio.am informs, Mohammad Javad Zarif will have meetings with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
