Armenia is Interested in Developing its Cooperation with Friendly Ireland

The Armenian Ambassador to Ireland (residence in London) presented his credentials to the President of Ireland Michael Higgins in Dublin, which was followed by a private talk between Higgins and Sargsyan.

Greeting the Ambassador Sargsyan, the President of Ireland congratulated him on assuming the post and expressed confidence that his long-term diplomatic and political experience will contribute to strengthening Armenian-Irish relations.

Expressing his gratitude for the reception, Armen Sargsyan confirmed Armenia’s interest in developing its cooperation with friendly Ireland. During the private talk the sides discussed the agenda for cooperation in politics, trade, economy and culture, as well as a wide range of issues of common interest.
