Terrorist Attack in Nigeria

Two female suicide bombers exploded a vehicle in the city Gombe not far from the place where the president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, was delivering a speech, reports Interfax.

A rescue worker said that they have found bodies of two females, and they assume that these suicide bombers were responsible for the attack. According to the local police, 18 people were injured as a result of the bombing.

As Inquierer.net informs, it is the Boko Haram Islamic extremists who are mainly being blamed for suicide bombings. These extremists are "against democracy and have vowed to disrupt the Feb. 14 elections for the president, state governors and legislators in Nigeria."
