Genocide Claims of Serbia and Croatia are Rejected

The International Court of Justice has rejected the claim of Croatia that Serbia has committed genocide towards them. The counter-claims of Serbia were also rejected, reports BBC.

 The Croatian government claims that in 1991, during the period of Croatia’s secession from Yugoslavia, Serbia committed genocide in the town of Vukovar. In its Turn Serbia brought facts that during this period more than 200,000 Serbs were expelled from Croatia.

However, Judge Peter Tomka rejected both the Croatian claim and the Serbian counter-claim by saying that the evidences brought by both sides were not sufficient to prove anything.
