Russia Verified the Agreement with Abkhazia
Russia has verified the agreement signed with Abkhazia, reports Tass. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin verified the federal law ratifying the agreement on strategic partnership and alliance between the Russian Federation and Abkhazia signed on November24, 2014.
This agreement establishes the basis for intergovernmental relations between Russia and Abkhazia not only in social, economic and humanitarian sectors, but in defense and security as well. The agreement on establishing joint armed forces also presupposes formation of common area of defense and security.
