This Week in Europe
Below we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming events in Europe that directly concern or present a particular interest for Armenia. Special attention is paid to international organizations and the scheduled meetings and events in the framework of their activities.
The visit of the OSCE MG co-chairs to the region has already started. It will continue till 17 February. The co-chairs will be in Yerevan on Tuesday.
New sanctions against Russia entered into force on February 16. "The black list" has been expanded by 19 individuals and 9 companies.
RF president Vladimir Putin will visit Hungary on February 17. The issues of energy, sanctions against Russia and Ukrainian crisis are on the agenda
Winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will take place on 18-20 February.
On February 19 Azerbaijan’s MFA Elmar Mammedyarov will visit Tbilisi.
Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel is going to visit Paris on 20 February. She will have a meeting with the President of France François Hollande, they will discuss the process of the implementation of Minsk agreement on Ukrainian crisis.
