Putin Cancelled His Visit to Astana

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin cancelled his planned visit to Kazakhstan, РБК reports. "The visit has been cancelled. It looks like Putin has fallen ill," - the official told Reuters, requesting anonymity.

It was assumed that the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko would also join for talks with Putin and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. "Indeed, the leaders of the three countries decided to postpone the planned meeting in Astana for a few days," – the spokesman of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov said, without telling the reason, RIA Novosti reports.

On March 12 in Astana a trilateral meeting - Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia – was planned to be held.
