"Shant 2015" Strategic Military Exercises Launched in Armenia
From September 3 to 6 "Shant 2015" strategic military exercises will be held in Armenia, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reports. The military exercises will be led by the RA President.
"Shant 2015" military exercises that are of national importance are plenary in nature and are aimed at rechecking the immediate defense preparedness, the mobilization preparedness of the state and military governing bodies when repulsing aggression, and the capability to bring to high degree the military readiness, and to raise the harmony of interaction and actions.
It has been informed that given the current political situation in Armenia and the military-political situation around, the imaginary opponent and the situation of the scenario of the exercises are adapted to the reality.
Unlike previous years, this year several demonstrating lessons were held.
