Deputy Head of CSTO: "Shant 2015" Military Exercises of the Republic of Armenia can be Invaluable for CSTO
The experience of "Shant 2015" strategic military exercises of the Republic of Armenia can be invaluable to apply within the CSTO. As "Armenpress" reports this assessment was given by the Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Valery Kolchin.
"Armenia is one of the first CSTO member states that carries out such exercises. Therefore, the experience of the exercises can be invaluable to apply within the CSTO," the CSTO representative said.
On September 2, the working group of CSTO Secretariat and Joint Staff arrived in Armenia, to provide appropriate advice to "Shant 2015" military exercises being held in Armenia on September 3-6.
"What we saw here corresponds to the realities that are taking place in the Republic of Armenia and its neighborhood," the Deputy Head of CSTO said.
