A Prize For An Idea

A competition for an idea of public importance is announced. The authors of important and creative ideas in any sphere can get a prize and additional support in their scientific and professional activities.

"Noravank" Scientific Educational Foundation and Analytical NGO "Integration and Development" have announced a competition for ideas of public importance in science, education, political sciences, media security, integration processes, etc. The authors of the best ideas will get a financial prize, while the organizers of the competition will do their best to realize the best ideas․

The director of the foundation "Noravank" Gagik Harutyunyan, the president of the competition jury, and the president of the NGO "Integration and development" Aram Safaryan, deputy president of the jury, informed about the terms of the competition during the press conference in "Sputnik" Press Center.

They noted that the main goal of the competition was to increase interest on the value of intellectual potential   and creative ideas.

"In the last years, there is a lack of job places, that demand intellectual resources. It’s important to promote intellectual development, especially among the young ones", said Aram Safaryan.

According to him this competition will give an opportunity to find wide-minded, creative young individuals, who have ideas, and to help them in their scientific activities and in their career path. The organizers of the competition and their colleagues from the Eurasian expert club will invite the competition participants and particularly the winners to participate in future  events, round table discussions, seminars organized by them. They will also create  opportunities for their participation in international events.

In addition Safaryan noted, that they would be happy if other foundation also organized such initiatives and helped young men to realize their potential.

"This competition will not only help to collect important and interesting ideas, but will also increase the meaning of the knowledge", Gagik Harutyunyan said. He also noted that the participation of the Armenians from Diaspora is also encouraged, as there were no age, geography or other limits.

The announcement of the competition will be published on the web page of the "Noravank" foundation on October 1. The interested people will be able to send the summary of their ideas (3 pages) to the jury till November 1.

On November 10 the jury will announce the winners. The first three places will receive a financial prize of 300 000, 200 000, and 100 000 AMD. The organizers also will try to realize the ideas of winners.
