Turkey Declares Three Days of Mourning

Turkey on Saturday declared three days of national mourning after twin explosions killed at least 95 people at a peace march in the capital Ankara in what the government said was most likely to be a suicide bombing, France 24 reports.

"There are very strong signs that the attack was carried out by two suicide bombers," Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said following what was the deadliest attack of its kind on Turkish soil.

There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack, he said Islamic State (IS) group, Kurdish or far-leftist militants could have carried out the bombings.

Davutoglu declared a three-day official mourning for the victims of the two explosions, as well as for people killed in terror attacks since July.
