South Ossetia Want to Reunite with Russia
President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov is going to initiate a referendum on the republic's entry into the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti reports citing the press service of the head of the state.
"Today's political realities are such that we have to make a historic choice, we must reunite with brotherly Russia and ensure the security and prosperity of our country and our people for many centuries," Tibilov said.
According to him, all the steps to implement the results of the referendum will be carried out only with the agreement of the Russian side.
