Armenia and Russia United Their Air Defense System
On December 23, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan signed an agreement with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu in Moscow on the establishment of the Joint regional air defense system in the Caucasus region of collective security, RIA Novosti reports.
The document was signed after the bilateral meeting of Ministers. A plan of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the Russian Federation of 2016 was also signed.
