In Germany Want To Limit the Term of Office of the Chancellor

The head of the Free democratic party of Germany (SPD) Christian Lindner said that the term of office of the Federal Chancellor must limit eight or ten years, The qpost reports.
According to him, during the reign of Chancellor Angela Merkel formed a “political stagnation”.
He also added that Merkel has held the post since 2005.
Lindner stressed that the limitation of the term of office of the Chancellor will help prevent “political stagnation” in the future.
