Meeting of CSTO FMs Council Took Place in New York
Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan took part in a meeting of CSTO Foreign Ministers' Council in New York today on 26 September. The press service of the Foreign Ministryinforms about this.
The ministers discussed issues related to the agenda of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, presented their priorities for work within the UN framework, touched upon the CSTO initiatives on the UN platform and mutual assistance, and exchanged views on the work of the CSTO.
In his speech, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted the importance of the meeting in the traditional format as an effective platform for coordinating foreign policy.
The issue of CSTO Secretary General replacement was also discussed during the meeting.
