Genadi Tavaratsyan Has Been Appointed As Head of the National Defense Research University of the Defense Ministry
President Armen Sarkissian has appointed Genadi Tavaratsyan head of the National Defense Research University of the Defense Ministry, President’s Office informed.
At the time of the appointment Tavaratsyan served as head of the strategic planning department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The appointment was made at the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
Earlier, President Sarkissian has sacked Armen Ghahramanyan - the head of the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University of the Defense Ministry.
The dismissal was also made at the recommendation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to the press release.
