Armenia Fully Controls Pace of Military Drills in Azerbaijan: Defense Minister
The session of the Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh will continue after a break, member of the Council, Armenia’s Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, told Aysor.am.
He refused to answer questions about the pace of the session, saying that more probably it will continue for another three hours.
Speaking about the military drills in Azerbaijan, the Defense Minister said that he treats them very calmly and stressed that there is no need to worry about them.
To the comment that the drills are carried out in the pre-context of Pashinyan-Aliyev upcoming meeting, Tonoyan said it is also an option.
As to why the Azerbaijani side conducts such wide-scale military drills without notifying about them, Tonoyan said, "The conduction of military drills is violation of international commitments by itself but as of the moment, we completely control their pace. There is no need to worry."
