Political Consultations Between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Ukraine Held in Kyiv
On March 22, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Ukraine were held in Kyiv on the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers.
During the consultations, delegations headed by Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Ukraine, Shavarsh Kocharyan and Vasyl Bodnar respectively, discussed the perspectives of intensifying cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, by emphasizing a number of regional and international agenda issues of mutual interest.
The sides discussed in details the perspectives of deepening trade and economic relations, strengthening inter-parliamentary collaboration and expanding legal framework between the two countries as well.
During the meeting the importance of regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs on different levels and between various departments were stressed. On this basis, Deputy Foreign Ministers Kocharyan and Bodnar initialed the Draft Plan of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Ukraine in 2019-2020, which will soon be signed by Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Ukraine.
