Sasun Mikaelyan Elected Board Chairperson of the Yerkrapah Union of Volunteer
During the special congress of the Yerkrapah Union of Volunteer Land Defenders (UVLD), held in the sessions hall of the Government on 7 April, newly elected members of the board unanimously elected Sasun Mikaelian as chairman, News.am reports.
It was noted that it was difficult to hold meetings of the board with a large number of members, and therefore it was decided to reduce the number of members from 186 to 25 in order to resolve work issues - one representative was elected from all regions.
