Russian MI-24 Helicopter Shot Down from Portable Anti-Aircraft Missile System
Russian MI-24 helicopter was shot down in Armenia’s territory, on the border with Azerbaijan, Aysor.am reports, referring to Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Russian MI-24 was shot down from portable anti-aircraft missile system,” the press release says.
It has been noted that the commandership of the 102d Russian military base is conducting examination to reveal by who the helicopter was shot down.
The incident occurred today at about 6 p.m.
