Some Roads in Armenia Partly Icy
Some roads are closed or difficult to pass in Armenia as of Saturday morning due to adverse weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the roadways leading from Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari of Aragatsotn Province are shut down.
Vardenyats Pass is closed to trucks and difficult to pass for all other vehicles.
Gegharkunik Province roads, Yerevan-Sevan highway and Gorayk-Zanger highway of Syunik Province are partly icy.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all traffic, but there are 370 trucks stuck on the Russian side.
