Some Roads Are Closed In Armenia

The Ministry of ES of RA has informed that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

Roadways leading from "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province are closed.

Vardenyast pass are difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

It is snowing in Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, Aragatsotn provinces, in Hrazdan, Tsaghkadzor, Abovyan towns of Kotayk province, in Ararat town of Ararat province, in Berd town of Tavush province, in Kajaran, Goris towns, in Sarnakunk-Zanger section (black ice is noticed), in section called "Meghru sar" of Syunik province, in Vanadzor, Spitak, Stepanavan towns of Lori province.

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles: there are about 500 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
