NKR President's Spokesperson: Nothing extraordinary on the front line occurs.

In the recent few days we hear alarming news from Nagorno-Karabakh Republic concerning the situation on NKR-Azerbaijani border. Commenting on the situation on the front line, the spokesperson of the NKR President David Babayan told "Armedia" IAA that there are no reasons for concern. "Nothing extraordinary on the front line occurs. The nature of the violations is not new. This is the same violation, to which Azerbaijan has regularly resorted over the past year and a half," David Babayan said. The reason for the last activity of the Azerbaijani troops the speaker linked with the visit of the OSCE Minsk Group to the region, noting that "the Azerbaijani troops have always reacted to these visits in this way."

It should be reminded that on July 20 the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs met with the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, during which they discussed the next steps for the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Against this background, it is already several days Azerbaijan continues to actively violate ceasefire along the perimeter of NKR-Azerbaijani border. According to the operative data of the NKR Defense Army on July 21, the opponent violated the cease-about 160 times.

In order to spread panic in the Armenian society, official Azerbaijan does not disdain from using disinformation. So, on the eve, the Azerbaijani media spread "news" that during military exercises at the anti-tank mine, two NKR T-72 tanks were detonated. However, the NKR Defense Ministry refutes this information.
