NKR Defense Army: Intensive Ceasefire Violations Were Recorded During the Night
According to operative data, on the night of March 1 the situation on NKR-Azerbaijan border remained tense, the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense informs.
In particular, intensive ceasefire violations were recorded during the night. Azerbaijani armed forces using small arms and artillery weapons of various caliber, fired in the direction of Armenian positions over 1100 shots.
In the south-eastern direction of NKR-Azerbaijan border (Martuni) Azerbaijani Armed Forces, in addition to the mortars of various calibres and guns D-44, used a reactive missile and artillery unit - TR-107 of Turkish production.
It should be recalled that in the same direction on the eve of the opponent applied anti-tank missile SPIKE.
As a result of ceasefire violation Armenian side has not suffered losses.
Defense Army units resorted to retaliatory action to suppress the opponent's offensive activity and confidently carried out their combat mission in front of them.
At the moment the situation is calm on the forefront.
