There is a Firm Basis for the Expansion of Armenian-Chinese Relations

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, the Head of the Armenia-China Friendship Group Hermine Naghdalyan met with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Armenia Tian Erlung. Congratulating the Ambassador on beginning his diplomatic mission in Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan expressed hope that the warm and friendly relations between the parliaments of the countries will from now on continue to develop.

Hermine Naghdalyan stressed the importance of the existing high-level political relations between the two countries, the exchange of experience, mutual visits and the bilateral meetings. In this context Naghdalyan referred to the activities of the Friendship Group and invited the members of the Armenia-China Friendship Group to Armenia. The Deputy Speaker of the NA also mentioned about the close cooperation with All-China Women’s Federation and stressed the importance of the cooperation between the women of the two countries who actively participate in the social and political life. 

Tian Erlung emphasized that there is a firm basis for the expansion of the Armenian-Chinese relations and expressed readiness to have his contribution in developing the intergovernmental cooperation and in the implementation of different projects. He stressed the importance of the cooperation in cultural, trade, economic and humanitarian sectors mentioning that the volume of the trade turnover between the two countries has increased.
