Obama Calls for a Diplomatic Solution of the Ukrainian Crisis
The US continues to call for the diplomatic solution of the Ukrainian Crisis, as Tass reports declared Barack Obama in a joint press-conference with Angela Merkel. Obama mentioned that the US and Germany agree that the sanctions put on Russia should still remain, until Russia has not fulfilled its obligations undertaken by the Minsk Agreement.
According to Obama, the sanctions have negative effect on the Russian economy and this will make Russia change its policy towards Ukraine. Obama also announced that he has not decided yet whether he will send weapons to Ukraine or not.
Meanwhile Obama said, he will ask his team to “consider all options” of their further actions, if they do not reach to a diplomatic solution of the Ukrainian Crisis.
