Armenia and the Czech Republic will Deepen Their Economic Cooperation
On February 20 the RA Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Petr Mikyska. The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of the appointment and expressed confidence that joint efforts will contribute to the increase of the volume of trade.
In his turn the Ambassador noted that effective cooperation is carried out between two regions of Armenia and the Czech regions in agriculture and tourism sectors. He also mentioned that Czech companies will participate in “Armenia Expo” to be held in September 2015
The sides reached an agreement to put quality infrastructure sector on the agenda of the second Armenian-Czech Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation, as well as to ensure participation of Armenian and Czech representatives of business communities to discuss and implement business and investment projects.
