Qatari Ambassador to Armenia Presents His Credentials to the Armenian President

The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Armenia, Ali Bin Hamad Al Sulaiti on February 24 handed over his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

After congratulating the Ambassador, the President Serzh Sargsyan mentioned that Armenia attaches great importance to deepening the relations with Gulf states, including Qatar. Stressing the old-age friendship between the Armenian and Arab people, the Armenian President expressed confidence that it could provide a firm foundation for Armenian-Qatari relations to successfully develop in all mutually beneficial sectors.

In his turn the newly-appointed Ambassador assured that he will put every effort to develop bilateral relations and realize the full cooperation potential. At the meeting, the sides also touched upon current regional and international issues.
