Number of Likes in Facebook is to Drop
The number of Likes in Facebook pages is going to drop in coming weeks for technical reasons, techcrunch.com reports.
The thing is that Facebook has decided to change the way it is counting Likes. According to this new strategy, in Facebook pages the Likes of those social users, whose accounts have been deactivated previously, are going to be subtracted from the overall number of Likes.
How many Likes are the Facebook page keepers going to lose as a result of this policy?
Change will depend on the number of the Likes they already have: if the page has only a few dozen of Likes, it will not lose any Likes, on the contrary the greater the number of Likes of a page, the more Likes it will lose.
Dissemination of the information on this kind of Facebook policy change is to prevent the disappointment of Facebook page keepers in case they notice the number of their page Likes has decreased.
