Britain decided to join Asian Bank
Finance Minister George Osborne said, that “joining Asian Infrastructural Investment Bank (AIIB) at the founding stage will create an unrivalled opportunity for the UK and Asia to invest and grow together", informs rt.com.
About the establishment of Asian Infrastructural Investment Bank AIIB was proposed by China in 2014. Among the founding members are 26 Asian countries, including Kazakhstan. Britain’s decision was given the cold shoulder by the USA and its Asian allies – Japan, South Korea and Australia, which sees the AIIB as rival to the Western financial system.
