Sarkozy's Party is Winning the Elections
The Party of former French President Sarkozy has received the majority of the votes in more than 60 districts in the local elections held on March 29, BFM reports. The rulling party with the head of the President Hollande has received majority of the votes only in 30 districts.
Experts and analysts are sure that these elections showed the political preferences of the French people and most probably this will become decisive in 2017 presidential elections.
"The French people have massively rejected the policies of (President) Francois Hollande and his government. The time for change is now," – Reuters quotes Sarkozy’s words.
