About Mother tongue

I surely feel myself Armenian as I grew up in an Armenian family, but my very first words were in French. Afterwards, my sister , my daughter and I learned Armenian. I speak it without any accent, but still cannot read or write. And what’s then?! After all, my ancestors, who didn’t go to school, were not Armenians any worse.
