New Sanctions against Russia?
The White House statement released after a meeting between US Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk reads that the US and Group of Seven (G7) leaders are committed to impose significant costs on Russia if needed, Sputnik News reports.
The Vice President particularly noted that the United States and its G-7 allies stand ready to impose significant additional sanctions "if necessary to respond to Russia’s actions."
Yatsenyuk is currently on official visit in Washington, DC. Durring his visit he met with the US Congress members to discuss the current situation in Ukraine.
