Explosion in Rome

A bomb reportedly exploded outside a post office in a central district of Rome, Italy, Guardian reports.
Italian police are investigating the accident. Emergency services told the state broadcaster RAI that the situation was under control. The source reported a double explosion, with one car damaged.
RAI said two devices had been found near parked cars in the area. Authorities were exploring all possible causes, including that the explosive may have been a letter bomb or a similar improvised device.
