Garo Paylan Congratulated Nikol Pashinyan in Armenian (VIDEO)
Armenian Member of the Turkish Parliament Garo Paylan of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) spoke about the recent snap parliamentary elections in Armenia and congratulated Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his political team for the victory they achieved, News.am reports.
"I congratulate, from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Nikol Pashinyan and the Armenian people who conducted a democratic election. Immediately after the elections, Mr. Pashinyan announced that they [Armenia] are ready to establish relations with Turkey, without preconditions. I hope that Turkey has responded, 'I'm ready', Paylan said during his speech in Turkish Parliament.
"From here I call on the parliament speaker of Turkey and to the president of the country to give a constructive response to the [acting] Prime Minister of Armenia. I am convinced that we [Turkey] don’t have unresolved issues with Armenia", said Garo Paylan and added in Armenian, "I wish success to Nikol Pashinyan and his friends".
