“It’ll happen when it happens” – Armenian FM on potential Trump-Pashinyan meeting
Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan says that dialogue with the United States has been activated.
“We didn’t have a meeting with Trump and Pompeo, but our dialogue with the US didn’t decrease from this, it has activated a lot. There a unique system with its complex structure in the US, and the issue of the meetings with Trump and Pompeo is on the agenda, it will happen when it happens,” Mnatsakanyan said, Armenpress reports.
Asked to comment on rumored failures for reaching such a meeting, the FM said “they are wrong”.
Asked whether or not negotiations are held to organize a meeting between Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and US President Donald Trump, the Armenian FM said: “This issue is always on our agenda”.
