Roadways that are closed or difficult to pass
According to the Ministry of ES of RA on January 2 by 11:00 some roads in Armenia are closed and difficult to pass.
Vardenyats Pass (from the side of Gegharkunik Province) is closed for trucks and is difficult to pass for cars.
Clear ice is formed in Vardenyats Pass (from the side of Vayots Dzor Province).
It is snowing in Gyumri town of Shirak Province.

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of CMC of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
Construction works are underwayConstruction works are underway on Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, as a result of which the above-mentioned section of the road is closed for trucks. The following alternative highway has been established:
