Some Roads in Armenia are Closed and Difficult to Pass
According to the Ministry of ES of RA on February 5 by 09:42 some roads in Armenia are closed and difficult to pass.
Vardenyats Pass is closed.
The roadway leading to Tsovagyugh village of Gegharkunik province (there is snowstorm), Sotk-Karvachar roadway (there is snowstorm), Artik-Alagyaz roadway of Shirak province are closed.
Black ice is formed on the roadways of Syunik province, on Kuchak-Aparan roadway, on the roadways of Tsaghkahovit region of Aragatsotn province and on Yerevan-Sevan roadway.
There is snowing in Ashtarak town of Aragatsotn province and on Saravan-"Zanger" roadway.
According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Republic of North Ossetia, there are 550 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
