Nikol Pashinyan Congratulates Emmanuel Macron on French Republic’s National Day
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a message of congratulations to President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic on the occasion of the country’s national holiday. The message reads:
"Mr. President, Dear Emmanuel,
On behalf of the Armenian people and on my own behalf, I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of France on the French Republic’s National Day.
Thanks to the victory of the freedom-loving and revolutionary spirit of the French people, the civilizational values of human rights, equality of citizens and enlightenment were placed at heart of Europe’s historical development.
Today we are proud to record the ongoing high-level dialogue between Armenia and France, which is underpinned by deep-rooted Armenian-French historical and cultural ties and common values. Today, as the world has become unpredictable with ever-increasing global challenges, we would like to reaffirm our firm determination to strengthen and deepen the French-Armenian cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
Armenia highly appreciates the constructive and balanced involvement of France in its capacity of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as a pledge of regional peace, stability and development.
I look forward to hosting you on a state visit to Armenia in the near future.
By renewing my congratulations on your country’s National Day, I wish you robust health and inexhaustible energy, as well as prosperity and ever new achievements – to the friendly people of France.
Yours sincerely, Nikol Pashinyan."
