Presenting Haypost’s 2020-2025 draft development strategy:, Director General Hayk Karapetyan referred to inventory problems, reported on the current state of affairs and the development strategy, which was developed on the basis of a study of international best practices in cooperation with the consulting organization. The ongoing reform is expected to make Haypost a national post operator with efficient management and a profitable business model in 2020-2025.
The strategic goals are meant to ensure access to high-quality postal communication both at home and abroad, as well as to develop infrastructure in a balanced way, provide high-quality services and introduce new digital solutions. A special focus will be placed on payments, logistics, e-commerce, financial, public services, property management, etc.
Issues related to Haypost network’s improvement, infrastructures development, introduction of new services, the impact of reforms and cost-effectiveness were discussed during the exchange of views that followed.
The Prime Minister stressed that Haypost is widely represented in the whole territory of Armenia, and therefore the reform should be seen not only as a means of improving postal services, but they also should be considered from the perspective of chain infrastructure development and introduction of corporate culture.
