Armenia not Planning to Apply to CSTO Regarding Situation in Nagorno Karabakh: Armenia's PM

Speaking to Russian mass media representatives today Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that applying to the CSTO is a political issue.

"Applying to the CSTO is a political issue. It is very difficult to speak about the limits when to apply. We are closely working with the CSTO but launching other procedures is another thing. Armenia’s Armed Forces are capable to ensure the country’s security," he said.

He said Armenia will ensure its security in all possible ways.

"Whether with the CSTO or without it, it is another question. We are discussing all the opportunities for ensuring our security depending on the situation and general political context," he said.
