We Must Reform Our Thinking in Order to Achieve the Goals We Have Set - PM Introduces Newly Appointed ESCS Minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and introduced newly appointed Minister Vahram Dumanyan to the ministry staff.
The Premier thanked outgoing Minister Arayik Harutyunyan for his efforts and wished Vahram Dumanyan fruitful activities.
“Dear colleagues, there is a lot of talk about the status of state institutions in the country. I am convinced that our problems are due to underdeveloped state institutions. In the meantime, we should not ignore the role of thinking as an institution. I believe that we should look into this issue from a wider perspective in order to understand it and see what kind of thinking we are guided by, how well this institution meets our needs, demands and interests. It seems to be obvious that we must reform our thinking in order to achieve the goals we have set,” the Prime Minister said.
Thanking the ministry staff for joint work, Arayik Harutyunyan said that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has taken shape as a state institution and is in good working condition. He stressed that the Ministry responded adequately to the challenges that emerged during the war and throughout the COVID pandemic owing to the efforts exerted by the staff.
Mr. Harutyunyan thanked Prime Minister Pashinyan for cooperation and support in their activities. “The reforms launched in the ministry will have a positive impact on public life in Armenia, including the economy and Armenia’s position in international relations. I do believe that the sound foundations that have been laid should be further strengthened.”
The outgoing Minister expressed readiness to hand over his experience and information to the newly appointed Minister in support of the reform process.
Thanking the Prime Minister for high trust, newly appointed ESCS Minister Vahram Dumanyan noted, “I accepted the offer in a fully responsible manner. I am grateful for confidence. I will spare no effort for the sake of our state, country, and will do my best to achieve the proposed targets.” He thanked Arayik Harutyunyan for his willingness to cooperate.
In conclusion, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wished his colleagues every success in their future activities.
