Armenia’s Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) Arman Tatoyan has extended festive greetings to women on International Women's Day. The ombudsman’s message reads:

Thanks to your dedication and care, and due to the bright colors of your essence, the world changes, it becomes kinder and filled with patience.

Your upbringing towards the values that inspire you with the desire to create, overflows with selfless love for homeland, for family and for the state, is invaluable.

It is necessary to inculcate with unending programs the foundations of the state which are strengthened only by the guarantee and equality of your rights, and by the highest protection of your rights.
