Ninety-six years after women won the right to vote, a woman now has git a chance of winning the Presidential elections in the US.

Hillary Clinton -- former first lady, former U.S. senator, and former secretary of state -- has become the first woman to capture a major-party nomination for president, taking another step in a journey that once seemed impossible, but over the last eight years has seemed inevitable,  CNN reports.

Clinton already has 2,383 votes of delegates for becoming a nominee for presidential elections. The official nomination will take place in July.

Her graduation to presumptive nominee will also mark the start of a momentous general election campaign against the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

"Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different, they’re dangerously incoherent. They’re not even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies," she said in that speech, widely agreed to be one of her best of the campaign. "He is not just unprepared. He is temperamentally unfit to hold an office that requires knowledge, stability and immense responsibility',' The Guardian reported.

After a convincing victory in the primary in the state of Indiana, in early May, both opponents of Donald Trump  came out of the struggle. And Trump is now the only Republican candidate for the US presidential elections. He has reached the 1,239 threshold, which is sufficient for the approval of his nomination at the party congress.

But the most interesting thing is that, according to experts, one of the main problems of this election is public opinion. Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have the dubious honor of having the worst reputation in the history of presidential candidates from both major parties.
According to the US Internet resource Real Clear Politics, today about 55.6% of Americans speak negatively about Clinton. Only 37.6% of respondents have a positive attitude towards her. As for her rival Donald Trump, he has 58% negative attitude, and 35.4% positive one.
