Iran Threatens West to Reduce Gas Supply
The leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei declared that in response to the sanctions imposed by West, Tehran can reduce the supply of oil and gas to Europe, Lenta.ru reports. He mentioned that Europe and the whole world are in need of gas, the largest total reserves of which belong to Iran. “If sanctions are to be used [as a tool], the Iranian nation will put sanctions on them in the future,” –Khamenei added, PressTV reports.
Ayatollah Khamenei claimed that even if nuclear talks proceed, the West will not lift the sanctions as in reality they are opposed to the Islamic Revolution.
