The Nuclear Agreement with Iran Will not Lead to Regional Instability

US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif ended another round of talks that are aimed at creating a framework agreement. Iran and six major powers (UN Security Council members and Germany) are trying to conclude the framework agreement on Iranian nuclear program by March 31. The final agreement must be reached by July 1. According to the Voice of America, six major powers are trying to achieve a reduction of Iran's ability to enrich uranium and develop nuclear weapons. For his part, Iran insists that his nuclear program has exclusively peaceful nature. Iranian leadership also demands to remove the international sanctions.

Following the negotiations in the Swiss town of Montreux Kerry pointed out the little progress, but lamented remaining significant differences in the positions of the parties. He also announced that there are no external or political factors that can prevent the course of the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program. According to Kerry, any deal on Iran's nuclear program will include verification with inspections and other similar measures, reports RIA Novosti citing Reuters. The next round of talks is scheduled for March 15.

Today talks of six major powers with Iran at the level of political directors sarted. But these negotiations do not please everyone. US Secretary of State met the representatives of the Gulf countries in Saudi Arabia. According to the Voice of America, Kerry is trying to assure the members of the Gulf Cooperation that the agreement on Iranian nuclear program will not lead to regional instability. The American leadership also  perceived Benjamin Netanyahu’s rhetoric quite indifferently, who called on the US to abandon the "deal" with Iran. Iran's Foreign Ministry said that Netanyahu's statements in the US Congress are demonstratively false.

It should be mentioned that the last rounds of negotiations have fixed some progress in the negotiation process. The mediators say the negotiations have reached a turning point. The US Congress threatens with new sanctions if the political part of the agreement is not signed before the end of March. But the US president Barack Obama opposes imposing new sanctions against Iran.
