While Confronting the Forces of the Azerbaijani Special Unites 3 NKR Defense Army Soldiers were Killed
On March 19, at about 8.30 a.m., an enhanced group from Azerbaijan’s special military unite attacked in the northern (in the direction of Gyulistan) direction of the positions.
As the press service of the NKR Defense Ministry informs, after a two hours of fighting the NKR front-line personnel and the forces that joint them to help, made the enemy escape, then pursued them and completely destroyed them near their own positions.
Unfortunately, while confronting the opponent, the Defense Army soldiers Hakob Khachatryan (born in 1996), Edward Hayrapetyan (born in 1995), Arshak Harutyunyan (born in 1995) were killed and 4 more soldiers were left injured.
The NKR Defense Ministry expresses its condolences and extends sympathy to the family, relatives and the fellow servicemen of the soldiers.
