Developments of Greek-German Relations

The last meeting between Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and German Chancellor Angela Merkel is directed to break the national stereotypes and work together for better European future. Although the leaders discussed the new reform that Greece must implement in order to get cash from its European creditors, Tsipras consider his self to be in Germany not for the mentioned deal, but for finding common ground to move forward in the Eurozone, Reuters reports.

The German Chancellor made clear that the funding should be provided to Greece by the 19 nations of Eurogroup and it is not only up to her. According to Merkel, Greece needs structural reforms, an appropriate budget and an operational administration.

According to some other sources of information Greece is on the edge to leave Eurozone, the probability is 50-50. The Greek government needs to persuade its European creditors to conclude a package of economic measures in order to get long-withheld aid payments which will help the country afloat, Bloomberg reports.

It is clear that Greece went too far in order to solve the economic problems within short period of time, because the country has big debt first of all to its nation – social payments, wages and salaries and to Eurozone which is €240 billion. The loan method adopted by Europe does not have any positive impact on the country’s economy; furthermore it helps to add debt burdens every time taking a loan. In this case Greece needs not only good ideas from Germany how to improve the administration system and to shape appropriate budget, but it needs investments and not leans, that can help country to recover economy.
