Every year on June 15 all Armenians of the world celebrate the Day of State Flag of the Republic of Armenia.
RA law on the National Flag of the Republic of Armenia was adopted on June 15, 2006 by National Assembly, yeraguyn.com reports.
The flag of Armenia is tricolor with three horizontal and equal alternating stripes of red, blue and orange. The red symbolizes Armenia's fight for survival, our Christian religion and independence. The blue symbolizes the desire of the Armenian nation to live beneath peaceful sky. The orange symbolizes the creative nature and diligence of the Armenian nation.
