Iran will Receive Its $ 30 Billion Frozen Assets
Next week Iran may receive about $ 30 billion assets previously frozen as a result of Western sanctions, Vedomosti writes.
"The Central Bank of Iran, began preparations for the long-awaited unfreezing of assets worth a total of $ 30 billion belonging to the republic, but blocked in foreign banks as a result of the sanctions," the chairman of the Central Bank of Iran Waliullah Saif said.
According to him, unfreezing of the assets and the opening of blocked banking channels will be positive news for Iran, and have a positive impact on its economy.
